Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Management
- Manage the delivery of SAP Security Service for AMS engagement including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request across SAP Landscape
- Ensure high service availability and performance, with adherence to defined SLAs
- Lead root cause analysis and drive permanent resolution for recurring issues
- Manage transition and steady-state support phases for new or expanding engagements
2. Technical Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP security architecture, including authorization concepts, role design, and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend robust solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security practices throughout the SAP landscape.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools and best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior security consultants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with the latest SAP security trends, threats, and mitigation strategies.
2. Business/Client Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for Business/Client stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction
- Participate in regular governance meetings, provide reporting, insights, and continuous improvement updates
- Build trusted advisor relationships between IT and business leaders
3. Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP consultants and support analysts across onshore/offshore models
- Drive knowledge management, skill enhancement, and competency development within the team
- Support resource planning, onboarding, and performance management
4. Project Management
- Experience in estimation, planning and delivery of different sizes of projects like roll outs, mergers and landscape enhancements
Experience in role design and different kind of role design concepts like; enabler and master derived
- Experience in Go live and Hypercare support as well as handover to steady-state support
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, scope, and deliverables
5. Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Identify automation, innovation, and shift-left opportunities to enhance delivery efficiency
- Support the adoption of tools such as SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, Focused Build, and AI/ML-based ticket resolution
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 12-15 years in SAP Security with at least 5 years in AMS leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of SAP Security and GRC (ECC or S/4HANA), and familiarity with key modules
- Strong understanding of SOX, ITGC, and audit compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud SAP Security platforms such as SAP BTP, SAP IAG, etc.
- Experience in managing large SAP Security AMS engagements across multi-country landscapes
- Proficiency in ITIL processes and tools for service management
- Strong problem-solving, escalation management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation abilities
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA is an added advantage.
