We are looking for a skilled SAP SD Data Migration Functional Consultant with 3–6 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), specifically in data migration activities. The ideal candidate will have sound functional expertise in OTC processes and hands-on experience in migrating key SD data objects using standard SAP tools.
🔹 Key Responsibilities- Work as a functional consultant in SAP SD data migration projects.
- Analyze, map, cleanse, and migrate SD data as part of S/4HANA implementation or rollout projects.
- Perform end-to-end migration activities including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
- Handle migration of key OTC data objects such as:
- Customer Master Data
- Customer Material Info Records (CMIR)
- Customer Credit Limits
- Listing and Exclusion data
- Sales Orders
- Return / RMA Orders
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather data requirements and validate migrated data.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to business rules.
- Support data reconciliation, testing (unit/UAT), and post-load validation activities.
- Prepare functional specifications for data migration and coordinate with technical teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during migration cycles.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD processes (Order-to-Cash – OTC).
- Solid understanding of master and transactional data structures in SD.
- Hands-on experience in migrating SD data objects.
- Good understanding of data migration lifecycle (Extract → Transform → Load → Validate).
- Experience with SAP migration tools:
- LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit)
- LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench)
- Knowledge of data templates, mapping, and load strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data cleansing, validation, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
