Job Description
What awaits you:
► We integrate transport and shipping processes and digitalize transportation ordering process with our freight forwarders. The classic SD and LE-TRA processes in SAP R/3 are being expanded to include interfaces to our Transport Management System, including automatic document transfers.
► You will strengthen our world-wide team which is responsible for global process integration
► You will coach colleagues in our plants’ shipping departments as a process expert, provide trainings and support in incident handling as 3rd level support
► Conceptual work on process improvements, and transitioning processes from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 and TM is also part of your task
Your field of responsibility:
► Active participation and support on the implementation of the automated outbound shipments between SAP SD module and Bosch TMS (Transport Management System)
► Independently manage the smooth transition of routes into the target process incl. testing and activating the automated transport order creation
► Identification of process improvement opportunities and contribution to the IT development of new features
► Cooperation with different parties such as internal colleges, logistics service providers and BOSCH plants
► Conducting trainings for Bosch plants and supporting with upcoming issues, documenting new processes and best practices
► Identification, analysis, and problem solving of issues in the outbound shipping processes.
Qualifications
► University degree in Business administration, Logistics, Process management or equivalent experience.
► Several years of experience in SAP SD Module, preferably as a consultant/key user. Customer-oriented ordering and shipping processes, including relevant master data, have already been part of your projects.
► In addition to knowledge in SAP SD, you ideally bring initial experience with transportation.
► You understand how to professionally advise and convince our internal customers by precisely conveying technical matters, and how to advance the team with your expertise.
► Fluent English, ideally also German
► Willingness to travel, including occasional international assignments
► Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
► Strong, structured communication
► Accustomed to working independently.
► Proactive and “can do” attitude.
► Openness and curiosity to search for and try out new technologies.
