Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced IT Supply Chain Functional to join our team. You will have experience in supply chain management and IT systems, with a focus on optimizing supply chain processes and implementing solutions.
You will report to the Engineering Manager IT and work in a hybrid capacity from one of our India either Pune/Noida/Bangalore/Chennai/ offices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for applications in the SAP/Logistics/GTS Supply Chain areas
- Analyze current supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Build relationships with business teams and ensure seamless integration and operation of supply chain systems.
- Participate in gathering requirements, including leading, designing, and providing guidance on recommendations
- Write code and configuration documents and implement unit tests, system, integration and user acceptance tests
- Define functional specifications for new functionality. You will gain a full understanding of business processes and requirements and communicating this to ABAP developers on the Service Delivery team.
- Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new supply chain processes.
The Essentials – You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience required 3-9 years
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Consultant or similar role, with a focus on IT systems.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and management tools (e.g., SAP - ECC 6.0, CRM, SRM, GTS, SNC, Microsoft Suite,
- Experience with supply chain standards.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have:
- Experience with SAP Supply Chain Management modules.
- Certifications in supply chain management
- Knowledge of latest IT technologies and their application in supply chain management.
- Share your ideas and listening to others. You adapt your language and tone depending on who you're speaking to and always aim to be clear.
- Teamwork: Your ability to work within a team to achieve shared goals is indispensable
