Mission:

A functional consultant specializing in the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module, focusing on designing and documenting integrations between SAP S/4HANA and a customer web portal. The primary goal is to ensure smooth and accurate communication between systems, enabling customers to view information related to sales orders, deliveries, invoices, and purchase history.
Define, design, and lead functional solutions that connect the SAP SD module with a web portal, enabling functionalities such as sales order inquiries, delivery status tracking, invoicing, and returns management.

Responsibilities

• 1. Requirements Analysis:
• ollaborate with business and IT teams to gather the functional requirements for the customer web portal.
• Identify and map the relevant SAP SD data needed for integration, such as sales orders, delivery statuses, and invoices.
• 2. Functional Design:
• Develop detailed functional specifications for the integrations between SAP SD and the web portal.
• Define processes including:
• Creation and inquiry of sales orders.
• Viewing delivery statuses and shipment tracking.
• Accessing billing documents and electronic invoices.
• 3. Interface Definition:
• Design the necessary interfaces for communication between SAP and the portal using technologies such as:
• Standard SAP SD APIs or OData services.
• IDocs for order and delivery data transfer.
• 4. SAP SD System Configuration:
• Configure the necessary SAP SD functionalities to support the integration, such as:
• Master data management (customers, materials, price lists).
• Sales order and delivery processes.
• Billing management.
• Configure CDS Views to expose required data to the web portal.
• 5. Testing and Validation:
• Design and execute functional and integration test cases to validate data flows between SAP SD and the web portal.
• Coordinate user testing to ensure data accuracy on the portal.
• 6. Documentation and Training:
• Create functional and technical documentation for the designed integrations.
• Provide training to internal users and customers to facilitate understanding of the integrated processes.
• 7. Support and Continuous Improvement:
• Monitor the performance of integrations and handle requests for improvements or issue resolution.
• Implement optimizations based on customer feedback and performance analysis.

• Technical Knowledge:
• Advanced experience in the SAP SD module, including:
• Sales order management.
• Delivery and transportation processes.
• Billing cycles and pricing determination.
• Ideal: Experience with the SAP FI module (Financial Accounting) in addition to SD.
• Plus: Knowledge of integration between SAP SD/FI and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Knowledge of integration tools and technologies:
• Standard APIs and OData Services.
• IDocs (ORDERS, INVOICE, DELVRY).
• SAP Gateway for exposing services.
• Creation and configuration of CDS Views for data exposure to external systems.
• Functional Skills:
• Experience in defining sales, distribution, and logistics business processes.
• Ability to map business requirements to SAP SD configurations and functionalities.
• Competence in data analysis and workflow documentation.
• Interpersonal Skills:
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Required Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years as an SAP SD functional consultant.
• Experience in SAP integration projects with web portals or other external systems.
• Active participation in at least one SAP SD interface design and implementation project.
• Recommended Certifications:
• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sales.
• Work Modality:
• Temporary position, hourly-based contract.
• Flexible schedule, remote work preferred.
• Availability to collaborate on demand for specific project milestones.
