About the position
- Member of our European CIT TEAM with focus on SAP
- ABAP and BTP(CAP) Developer for SAP solutions within a R/3 ECC 6 and S/4 enviroment
- In this hands-on role, the position holder provides application management and support of the full lifecycle of solutions: handover process, operations and application retirement.
- Technical support of roll-out activities in all Regions of Zeiss
- Ensuring an appropriate technical system documentation

Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP Development, developing CAP application using NodeJs or Java is a plus.
- Strong ABAP skills both with Core ABAP and ABAP OO is a must.
- Experience using new SAP extension technologies such as CDS / RAP / Key User Extension is a must
- Experience with Adobe forms both offline and online is a plus
- Webdynpro & Workflow knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge concerning classic extension technique such as Implicit enhancement, explicit enhancement, classic BADI, new BADI, enhancement option, point, section, spot, DDIC Enhancement- domain, data element, tables, search help, view is a must.
- Functional Knowledge in the respective modules is a plus
- Integration with Other Systems Via IDOC, Proxy, EDI, BAPI, RFC, BOR is a plus
- Experience in applying design and architecture design principles
- Ability to learn new technical concepts and systems
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced English language skills / german would be a plus
- Good communicator with peers, technical teams, and business representatives.
- Understanding and experience with ITIL and Project Management in Agile Framework is a plus
- Proactive, able to detect and mitigate risks in the daily operation and business activities
- Experience working within an international environement
