As an SAP S/4 MM Functional Consultant in Enterprise Technology's integrated Enterprise Resource Planning portfolio, you will play a crucial role in providing the technical designs and direction for software product teams building distinctive products and solutions for direct material sourcing within Request to Order Product Line for Ford Motor Company.
You will bring deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA (primarily MM) to collaborate closely with product managers, product owners, and enterprise architecture to drive continuous improvement within the SAP technical landscape and development process.
Responsibilities- Lead the technical design of SAP S/4 HANA solutions for the Request To Order Portfolio, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, business requirements, and SAP best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, product owners, and enterprise architecture to oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of SAP S/4 HANA based solutions, including new capabilities, system upgrades, and ongoing enhancements and simplification.
- Guide the technical implementation for integrating SAP S/4 HANA with other enterprise systems (e.g., non-SAP systems, cloud platforms) using various technologies and API frameworks.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage new SAP technologies to enhance and simplify business processes and system capabilities.
- Ensure the quality of the product/services offered in the portfolio
- Ensure SOX compliance and adhere to and enhance controls thereof
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring timely and successful delivery of product roadmaps.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education & experience
- 3+ years of experience implementing SAP S/4 HANA Materials Management in a large enterprise organization, including deep understanding of Supply Chain (Sourcing, Procurement and Logistics), Finance and Corporate Accounting relationships with other enterprise value streams
- Proven professional experience working in Direct Material sourcing and procurement within a large Supply Chain organization or complex SAP implementation
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience leveraging Agile methodologies working with multiple stakeholders, software product teams and cross-functional skill teams
- Experience integrating complex Software as a Service (SaaS) products with internally developed legacy systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver product roadmap milestones, manage dependencies across multiple internal/external teams
- Strong communication skills with ability to operationalize and assist teams with abstract technology concepts
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Respect and show empathy for team members, business partners and customers; Ask why, invite differing views, and foster consensus building mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive or complex manufacturer experience
- Technical expert who has experience building and scaling platforms and underlying services for re-use

This position is a range salary grades 6-8 and ranges from $74,300-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
