Position Type: Hybrid - 1 week on-site per month required
Contract Length: 1 year + possible extension
Design and develop scalable, upgrade-safe SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions—including custom objects, interfaces, and WRICE components—supporting Finance and Inventory Management processes while aligning with clean core principles. Collaborate cross-functionally, lead complex projects, and ensure thorough documentation and compliance with PTC standards and SAP best practices.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 8–10 years of overall SAP experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA BRIM module.
Minimum of 7 years of experience with SAP BRIM and S/4HANA ABAP development.
Must have SAP BRIM/SOM/CI implementation experience across multiple projects.
At least 2 full lifecycle system implementation projects as a hands-on developer or technical SME.
Extensive experience with SOM One Order Framework, GENIL/BOL programming, Fiori, Gateway, OData, and Advanced ABAP (including CDS Views).
Demonstrated experience developing ODATA services using RAP and other SAP-recommended technologies.
Solid background in REST API development, Java JSON file handling, and Extension Method implementation.
Hands-on experience in Fiori app development (Transactional and Web UI apps).
Working knowledge of BAS (Business Application Studio) and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
Experience across cross-functional SAP BRIM areas including SOM, CC, CI, FI, and CO is a strong plus.
Exposure to Inventory, Warehouse Management, and FI modules is an added advantage.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically to solve problems in a complex environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with diverse teams.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned tasks.
SAP BRIM and SAP ABAP technical certifications preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Duties:
Design and develop custom objects, enhancements, reports, and interfaces using SAP ABAP on S/4HANA.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize ABAP programs for performance and compliance with clean core principles.
Collaborate with FI/CO and MM functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Participate in the design and implementation of WRICE objects for Finance and Inventory Management processes.
Ensure developments align with SAP S/4HANA extensibility guidelines and upgrade-safe practices.
Stay current with SAP S/4HANA innovations and contribute to continuous improvement of SAP solutions.
Provide deep understanding of SAP SOM, including Business Partners, Products, Subscription Orders, Subscription Contracts, and the BTMF process.
Perform complex and varied SAP development work spanning multiple functional areas.
Deliver high-impact projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Recommend, author, and share coding best practices with project team members.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through to completion.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including designs, test plans, impact analyses, lessons learned, and best practices.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and clients.
Lead and participate in project team activities related to enterprise system enhancements.
Work independently to complete assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
Utilize appropriate software tools and technologies to perform job responsibilities.
