The BI Quality Assurance Analyst II role is focused on developing and establishing Test Strategy, Test Plan, Traceability Matrix, tracking defects and fixes in SAP and related business system applications. They analyze and interpret business system requirements to formulate and define testing scope and objectives. This role devises improvements to current testing and review procedures. The BI Quality Assurance Analyst II also develops automation scripts for Regression suite, works as a member of the project team to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed, and takes appropriate steps to ensure integrity of the Quality Assurance environment while adhering to established Patterson QA standards for Quality Assurance Process and Methodology.
*This role will be Hybrid (2-days a week in office) and it is required that you are located within 50 miles of our Corporate Offices in either Mendota Heights, MN or Loveland, CO. In-person attendance is expected to foster collaboration, innovation, and team connection.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with business objectives and ensure readiness across SAP modules and integrations, including SAP EWM processes such as inbound/outbound deliveries, warehouse tasks, and RF transactions.”
Translate business requirements into clearly defined test scopes, enabling accurate validation of functional and end-to-end processes.
Drive stakeholder alignment and approval of test deliverables, ensuring transparency, traceability, and shared ownership of quality outcomes.
Ensure full test coverage and traceability by mapping SAP product team requirements to test cases and validating through ADO dashboards.
Maintain high-quality test documentation in Azure DevOps (ADO), including test cases, defects, and test data, to support auditability and continuous improvement.
Lead execution of Functional, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, ensuring timely delivery of validated solutions.
Identify and implement effective test data creation methods, enabling realistic and repeatable testing scenarios.
Design and execute automation test cases to improve test efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support regression testing.
Monitor and report testing metrics via ADO dashboards, providing actionable insights to project teams and leadership.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and mentoring, resolving testing issues proactively and supporting the growth of junior analysts.
Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
2 years experience in SAP QA, including test planning, execution and defect management and
experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery environments and
2 years of SAP module experience as an end user or quality assurance tester of SAP modules such as ECC, CRM, SCM, PTP, and EWM and
1 year experience in design and execution of test strategies, test plans and traceability matrices and
1 year experience leading end-to-end testing cycles and coordinating test deliverables across SAP teams and
1 year experience using Azure DevOps/Jira for managing user stories, linking test cases and reporting
Preferred Requirements
experience testing SAP/S4HANA, SAP BTP, or Fiori UI/mobile interfaces
1 year experience with testing automation tools such as Tosca, Work Soft Ceritify, UFT or Selenium
Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
Strong collaboration skills with ability to work across cross-functional teams
Demonstrated leadership or mentoring capabilities for junior QA members
Proficiency with test management tools: HP ALM/Quality Center, Azure DevOps, or JIRA
Understanding of Product Model delivery: sprint-based work, MVP scoping, and backlog grooming
Ability to conduct change impact analysis and identify regression scope
Familiarity with API testing and integration validation (IDOC, RFC, PI/PO interfaces)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD-integrated QA
Working knowledge on Agile/Hybrid SDLC and delivering in iterative, product-focused environments

$65,000 - $95,000
