Job Description:
The SAP Project Coordinator supports the delivery of SAP initiatives across ESAB by coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
This role works closely with senior project managers, IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to support implementation and enhancement of SAP solutions (ECC, S/4HANA, GRC, etc.). The focus is on project coordination, execution support, and stakeholder communication to help deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
You will play an important part in supporting the successful implementation of SAP applications, helping projects remain within budget, on schedule, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
What you will do
• Regulations & Standards: The Project Coordinator supports the team in ensuring that the project is compliant with all relevant SOX regulations and ESAB Change Management and Project Management policies.
• Delivery: The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Delivery team, including scheduling meetings, organizing community events, formatting, maintaining issue logs and risk registers, taking minutes, and reporting. They ensure all information and documentation is processed, maintained, monitored, and filed.
• Planning and Management: The Project Coordinator supports the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive project plan that outlines the project’s scope, schedule, budget, and resources required. They work with the project team to track roles and responsibilities and help maintain a communication plan that includes regular status updates and stakeholder engagement. The Project Coordinator monitors progress, identifies risks, and supports mitigation planning to help keep the project on track.
• Stakeholder Management: The Project Coordinator works closely with stakeholders, including the executive team, department managers, IT personnel, and end-users, to support project objectives. They assist in maintaining relationships with stakeholders, communicating project updates, and helping manage expectations to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Budget Management: The Project Coordinator supports project budget activities, including tracking costs and assisting with reporting on budget variances. They work with stakeholders to help identify cost-saving opportunities and support contingency planning.
• Risk Management: The Project Coordinator maintains project risk and issue logs and supports tracking of mitigation actions. They assist in identifying risks and escalate as needed, working with stakeholders to support risk assessment and monitoring.
• Resource Management: The Project Coordinator supports coordination of project resources, including project team members, vendors, and contractors. They track resource allocation and help ensure the project team is supported to meet project objectives.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in SAP implementation.
- Strong command of SAP Activate and Clean Core principles.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience with Planisware is desired.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
