The work
The Product MDM Functional Consultant is responsible for leading the complex business and system analysis, design, and testing. Responsibilities include leading and coordinating functional team activities, providing guidance and direction to the functional team to ensure alignment with project goals, and overseeing the implementation of SAP solutions to ensure they meet business requirements. The role collaborates with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within teams. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring adherence to Accenture delivery methodology, facilitating communication between teams, mentoring and developing team members, and staying informed of industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate functional team activities
- Provide guidance and direction to the functional team, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Oversee the implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within teams
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
- Ensure adherence to Accenture delivery methodology, promoting efficient and effective project delivery
- Facilitate communication between teams, fostering a cohesive working environment
- May mentor and develop team members, promoting skill growth and knowledge sharing
- Stay informed about SAP updates and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement
Here’s what you need:
- 4+ years of experience in project management, to include project planning, resource allocation, and risk management
- Ability to align project goals with broader business objectives, ensuring strategic alignment
Nice to have:
- SAP implementation and configuration experience
- Leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment

- US Citizen (no duals)
- Ability to obtain a client Public Trust government clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
