The Work
The SAP Process Integration Specialist is responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑release support of SAP integration solution architectures. This role blends SAP PI/PO expertise with modern API frameworks to enable secure, reliable, and performant system‑to‑system communication and data exchange across complex enterprise landscapes.
You will define integration requirements, assess feasibility, plan work across large systems and subsystems, and produce high‑quality technical documentation. The senior specialist is expected to lead by example—providing ongoing knowledge transfer on best practices and standard API integration techniques—while mentoring team members and coordinating with functional, BASIS, security, and middleware stakeholders to ensure integrations meet business and compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and build integrations using SAP PI/PO and modern API frameworks (REST/SOAP, eventing, and secure messaging)
- Enable system‑to‑system communication, data exchange, and end‑to‑end integration flows across SAP and non‑SAP applications
- Conduct feasibility assessments, estimate effort, plan subsystem integration activities, and align to project schedules
- Develop technical deliverables including interface designs, mapping specifications, and integration runbooks
- Lead unit, integration, and regression testing; support deployment and post‑release stabilization
- Provide ongoing knowledge transfer on best practices, security, and standards‑based API techniques
- Collaborate with functional, BASIS, middleware, and security teams to ensure alignment and operational readiness
- Contribute to budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning for integration workstreams
- Manage a team, mentor junior developers, and elevate integration engineering capabilities

Eligibility Requirements:
- US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Eligible to obtain a minimum of a Secret Clearance
- You must live local to St. Louis, MO OR be willing to travel to St. Louis every week

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
