As an internal consultant within the corporate IT function, you will oversee the further development and adaptation (customizing & development) in the supply chain environment within SAP ERP worldwide for the ZEISS business units. As part of the technical SAP team, with system responsibility,
you form the creative bridge to the specialist departments and provide support to the SAP key users of various international departments and, if necessary, manage external IT partners
Your role in our team
• As part of the technical SAP team with system responsibility, you form the creative bridge to the specialist departments and support the SAP key users in various international departments and manage external IT partners as required.
• Focus areas in the course of digitalization will be the complete modeling of business processes beyond the ERP boundaries and the transformation of the SAP R/3 landscape to SAP S/4 HANA.
• Here, you will accompany the entire lifecycle from idea generation to implementation and training and support of solutions.
• In doing so, you will rely on tools from both agile and traditional project management methods in both content implementation and project management.
• In project business, the main function is to capture, transfer, and implement business requirements. Furthermore, in questioning situations, you will be the first point of contact for the business, providing assistance and advice.
• To ensure product stability, you are responsible for clean test preparation and its coordination with the designated tools.
• Participation and subject-specific responsibility within global M&A and SAP rollout projects.
• You are Part of bigger IT-Projects as Expert and subproject leader
• Part of a globally established team with global delivery and content support.
• Be part of the transformation from a global SAP R/3 to an SAP S/4 system in a greenfield approach
• You document solutions and create training documents and instructions

Your profile:
• Successfully completed studies in (business) computer science, (business) engineering, mathematics, or equivalent education
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the execution of IT projects within SAP production and logistics processing in manufacturing
• You understand the logical sequence of a planning process for end products as well as components; alternatively, you are familiar with material requirements planning and the interfaces to adjacent processes are not foreign to you.
• You are aware of the importance of relevant master data for the planning and material requirements planning process, as well as an understanding of data structures and their interdependencies.
• Their focuses are on the representation of complex planning processes in the MTS and MTO scenarios; monitoring and realization of the interface between the ERP and IBP systems; creation of processes in Signavio and their implementation in IBP in coordination with the business.
• Initial experience in integrating a planning system (such as SAP APO) is an advantage.
• You enjoy solving puzzles and finding errors
