You oversee the lifecycle of diverse, interdependent, cross-functional, multiple projects through a set of practices and a release plan. This includes disparate scope, resource dependencies, cross-project alignment, deployment planning, release execution and transparent reporting of release results for SAP and SAP-Integrated projects.
How you will contribute
You will oversee the operational responsibilities required to deliver projects and software releases following MDLZ best practices in Project governance and release governance, including project scope, review and approval, release-level RAID management, TG approvals, release governance boards and final preparation for project and release go-lives. In this role, you will conduct alignment sessions with senior leaders and other stakeholders to confirm that release schedules are aligned to business goals and then communicate the release roadmap to broader internal and external stakeholders. You will use your 8-12 years of project delivery and governance experience in software delivery lifecycle of SAP projects to influence leadership and projects.

As SAP Materials to Inventor Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading regional Operations Management deployment for SAP S/4 HANA applications related to Materials to Inventory (MTI). Working closely with stakeholders and external suppliers, you will identify business needs and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future aligned to Global standards and best SAP practices. Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead MTI SAP S/4 HANA projects, implementing regional strategies aligned with global objectives.
  • Provide key input on manufacturing, quality, and maintenance controls for software at all levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and vendors to achieve results.
  • Take responsibility for executing initiatives with precision. - Work across MDS and business areas to advance the delivery stream agenda and provide functional expertise in the LA region.
  • Understand integration processes and ensure effective application communication. - Focus on optimizing business processes efficiently.
  • Over 8 years of experience in large SAP ERP implementations across various modules.
  • +5 years of direct experience in at least three SAP business processes, including PP, QM, PM (MM/IM).
  • Proven ability to streamline functional requirements with business process leads and deliver effective SAP solutions.
  • Successfully completed at least one full SAP implementation cycle using S/4 HANA.
  • Skilled in identifying solution gaps and evaluating alternatives.
  • Experienced in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Exceptional communicator, adept at managing multiple workstreams.
  • Strong strategic thinker who proactively identifies risks and mitigates potential impacts.
  • Process and Service Oriented in Supply Chain/Manufacturing area (Production execution, quality management, replenishment, plant maintenance, plant warehousing)

  • Lead the management of large-scale software and application service delivery, ensuring excellence.
  • Collaborate with MDS and business functions, providing SAP technical expertise globally for MTI template design.
  • Partner closely with o9 and LogOps global teams for improved operations.
  • Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for standardized view as technology savvy in the regional and global technology forums
  • Partner with the Organizational Change Management team, Regional functional leads, to create a unified plan for successful deployment.
  • Oversee program and project management, ensuring efficient budgets, resources, schedules, and quality while understanding SAP ERP modules in ECC and S/4HANA.
  • Utilize expert knowledge in production, quality, and plant maintenance modules (PP, QM, PM) and master data management to support critical processes and analytics.
  • Understand integration methods between internal and external planning needs along with other SAP components and third-party applications.
  • Bring hands-on experience with ECC and S/4 application and configuration.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to make informed decisions based on data.
  • Communicate fluently in English, fostering effective engagement. Portuguese/Spanish is a plus
  • CPG Business processes experience is a plus.


Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree as Engineering, Business Administration or related fields (required)
  • SAP latest solutions and technologies; AGILE; ITIL; PM, and other relevant certifications
  • Post graduate degree is a plus in related areas (Business administration, , Engineering, Data Analytics) (preferred)
