This position covers the following key responsibilities:
Master Data Maintenance & Operations
• Responsible for the creation, modification, blocking, deletion, archiving, and batch upload/download of SAP master data (materials, customers, vendors, BOM, routing, work centers, cost centers, profit centers, assets, GL accounts, etc.), covering all views such as purchasing, sales, MRP, warehousing, quality management, and finance.
• Process master data change requests (MDCR) and implement the closed-loop process of request-review-entry-verification-release to ensure traceability of data changes.
• Perform daily data cleaning, deduplication, completion and standardization to resolve duplicate, incorrect, redundant and obsolete data.
• Maintain master data coding rules, classification systems, field standards and data templates to ensure global consistency
Data Quality & Governance
• Establish and implement master data quality KPIs: accuracy rate, completeness rate, duplication rate, timeliness rate, compliance rate.
• Conduct regular data audits, quality monitoring, issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis and closed-loop correction, and issue quality reports.
• Participate in formulating master data governance policies, standards, SOPs and operation manuals, and promote the implementation of data Owner/Steward responsibilities.
• Ensure master data complies with GDPR, industry regulations and internal/external audit requirements, and provide data traceability and audit evidence.
3. SAP Project & System Support
• Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, S/4HANA conversion and module launch, responsible for data migration (ETL), historical data cleansing, data validation, UAT support and go-live cutover.
• Collaborate with business, IT and implementation consultants to translate business requirements into master data models, field configurations and system rules.
• Support the configuration, operation and maintenance and integration of master data management platforms such as MDM/SAP MDG.
• Resolve SAP master data-related issues such as system errors, interface synchronization and data inconsistency.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & User Enablement
• Liaise with business departments including supply chain, production, quality, finance, sales and procurement to collect requirements, answer inquiries and coordinate issues.
• Provide business users with master data operation training, FAQs and on-site support to improve data awareness and operational standards.
• Promote process optimization, automation and efficiency improvement of master data (e.g., batch tools, scripts, RPA).
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Generate master data management reports, quality reports and project progress reports to support decision-making and monitoring.
• Continuously optimize master data processes, tools and standards to reduce data error rates and improve processing efficiency.
Profile:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
Experience
• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP master data management (ECC/S/4HANA).
• Deep expertise in material, customer, vendor, BOM, financial master data in SAP.
• Experience with data migration, data cleansing, data governance, SAP projects preferred.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in SAP GUI, SAP MDG, LSMW, LTMC, CATT, IDoc, SAP Query, SE16, Mass Maintenance.
• Knowledge of SAP modules: MM, SD, PP, QM, FI/CO, WM/EWM.
• Experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, Power Query), SQL, data tools (Power BI, Alteryx) a plus.
• Familiarity with MDM systems, data governance frameworks, ETL principles.

• SAP certification: SAP Certified Application Associate – Logistics, Finance, or Master Data.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, or CPG industries.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA new data models, Fiori, cloud integration.
• Experience with global rollouts, multi-site, multi-language/currency environments.

• Office-based, occasional on-site support for consumables and spare part warehouses.
• May require overtime during SAP go-live, month-end close, or project deadlines.
