You are responsible for configuration ownership, change control, testing governance, and stakeholder delivery for integrations connecting commerce, marketplace, and banking processes to financial accounting across ZALORA’s SEA operations, making independent functional and technical decisions.
Responsibilities :
  • Set and enforce testing governance and configuration standards for SAP modules, and provide end-to-end ownership for external sales, marketplace settlement, and billing processes. Work closely with various SAP consultants on their specialized module area.
  • Ensure reliable daily, monthly and bi-monthly interface execution, including monitoring, reconciliation support, exception resolution and documented recovery procedures.
  • Lead the SAP technical side for system interfaces (ie. External Sales / 1SS / E-Distribution interfaces and Marketplace TRE integrations).
  • Partner with Finance, FP&A, O2C, AP, Treasury and Marketplace Finance to translate accounting, settlement and reconciliation requirements into controlled SAP solutions.
  • Coordinate data flows across Data Warehouse (DWH), processing/staging layers, SAP Process Orchestration (PO) or successor middleware, SAP iDocs, Order Management System (OMS/OWMS) and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Design, test and release SAP enhancements for finance processes such as invoicing, consignment, purchase-order validation, refunds, payment interfaces and reporting controls.
  • Investigate production incidents and data discrepancies; lead root-cause analysis with Data, Engineering, Finance, Infrastructure and relevant external providers.
  • Establish and maintain interface runbooks, service maps, data contracts, ownership matrices, alerting standards, recovery procedures and month-end operating checklists.
  • Coordinate technical change with bank/payment partners and external platforms, including secure file-transfer, certificate/key rotation governance and end-to-end testing.
  • Support cross-country projects involving SG, MY, ID, PH, HK and Cluster/SEA operations, while ensuring local finance and operational requirements are met.
  • Improve resiliency by reducing manual interventions, strengthening controls, and automating repeatable reconciliation or file-handling activities.
  • Own the functional and technical roadmap for assigned modules; make independent decisions to drive strategy, delivery, and quality, while providing technical leadership and mentorship within the ERP/SAP integration team.
Requirements :
  • Proven team leadership and mentoring experience, demonstrating the ability to elevate team performance as a primary responsibility of the role.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering and supporting SAP Finance / ERP integrations in a multi-country environment.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP integration/middleware patterns, including SAP PO or comparable integration platforms.
  • Experience with iDocs, APIs, scheduled jobs, file-based interfaces, batch processing, error handling and production support.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot cross-system data issues spanning SAP, data platforms, middleware and operational applications.
  • Experience partnering directly with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, FP&A or O2C stakeholders.
  • Experience leading change delivery across testing, release readiness, hypercare and BAU handover.
  • Clear written documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively during month-end, incident and deadline-sensitive periods.
  • Strong behavioral competencies in stakeholder influence, operational ownership, and proactive problem-solving, aligned with ZALORA Career Rudder expectations.
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in SAP.
  • Candidate must be able to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Preferred skills
  • Experience with marketplace seller settlement, TRE, consignment, 1SS, E-Distribution, FBZ, IDS or comparable ecommerce/marketplace flows.
  • SAP FI/CO functional knowledge combined with technical integration capability.
  • Experience with OMS, WMS/OWMS, DWH, Postgres, event/data pipelines and enterprise-commerce integrations.
  • Banking/payment host-to-host integration experience, including secure file transfer and certificate/key lifecycle governance.
  • Experience designing observability, automated reconciliation, data-quality checks and operational controls.
  • Experience in SEA multi-entity or multi-currency retail/ecommerce environments.
  • Additional knowledge or exposure to SAP SD/MM and LE-TRA will be considered an added advantage, especially for cross-functional integration and logistics-related discussions; however, these are not mandatory requirements for the role.
