POSITION OVERVIEW

SAP key user and assistant to operations function. As a SAP key user you are able to work independently, while in the assistant to operations role you are getting guidelines from production/plant manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Responsible for solving problems independently in SAP – resolving errors (mostly because of wrong bookings) in SAP
  • Provide SAP training – continuously improve SAP skills of existing operators and provide initial training for new operators
  • Assisting with administrative tasks – purchasing PPE’s, running reports, …
  • Supervising weekly stocktakes/cycle counts
  • Having involvement in improving 5S in production and warehouse – continuously improve level of 5S in production and warehouse in coordination with production/plant manager
  • Responsible for coordinating minor maintenance work where necessary – greasing of equipment according to preventive maintenance schedule, contact maintenance contractors to execute maintenance tasks in coordination with production/plant manager
  • Assisting with the execution of projects in the factory – depending on actual projects, production/plant manager will instruct additional project tasks

Minimum Requirements

  • You have an extensive knowledge of SAP in a production environment – preferably minimum 3 years of experience
  • Preferably you have experience as a production operator – preferably minimum 3 years of experience, so you understand the production process and how this translates into SAP transactions
  • Previous experience and knowledge with 5S, Lean processes and procedures
  • You have an affinity with technology – this can be eg some interest/knowledge of electromechanics
  • You are Dutch-speaking and have good communication skills in English.
  • You have an eye for safety and quality.
  • You are an active person who sees work and who has an eye for improvements in the workplace
  • You are flexible and a team player
