About the Team and Product

Our development team at SAP is responsible for developing and enhancing SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM), an enterprise mobile application that enables field technicians, inventory clerks, and warehouse personnel to perform maintenance, service, and logistics activities efficiently, anytime and anywhere. The application runs on iOS, Android, and Windows, providing access to work orders, asset information, inspections, inventory management, and other essential processes, even in offline environments. We are looking for a motivated Test Automation Trainee to join our team and help us deliver high-quality mobile solutions to customers worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated tests for SAP Service and Asset Manager.
• Develop AI agents and supporting skills to streamline test automation workflows and assist in generating new automated test cases.
• Help improve our test automation framework and expand automated test coverage.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify issues and improve software quality.
• Gain hands-on experience with mobile application testing and modern development tools.
• Complement automated testing with hands-on testing activities to validate new features and ensure a high-quality user experience.

Requirements

• Active enrollment in a university degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Good programming skills in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript).
• Good understanding of fundamental software development concepts.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code).
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Interest in mobile application development and testing.
• Motivation to learn, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the Appium test automation framework.
• Basic knowledge of software testing, QA principles, or test automation.

Previous professional experience is not required. We are looking for a motivated student who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building high-quality enterprise mobile applications.
