SAP IT Tech Lead
The SAP IT Technical Lead is a strategic role responsible for the overall technical health, architecture, and delivery of our SAP ecosystem. You will lead a team of developers and offshore partners to design, build, and maintain high-quality solutions. Your mission is to ensure that our technical landscape stays agile, scalable, and aligned with the "Clean Core" philosophy while driving the transition to S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
Requirements
SAP Core: 8+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP (OO focus) and HANA database optimization.
Modern SAP Tech: Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori/UI5, and OData services.
Cloud Platform: Strong working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including Extension and Integration Suites.
DevOps & Tools: Experience with SAP Transport Management, gCTS, and modern CI/CD pipelines in an SAP environment.
Integrations: Deep understanding of IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and REST APIs.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to look beyond immediate tickets to see the long-term impact on the system architecture.
Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem Solving: A "firefighter" mindset when critical production issues arise, coupled with the patience to find the root cause.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Roadmap & Leadership: Define the technical vision for the SAP landscape; lead upgrade strategies, system refreshes, and cloud migrations.
Architectural Oversight: Ensure all developments follow SAP best practices. Enforce the use of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) and CAP (Cloud Application Programming) models where applicable.
Team Management: Mentor a team of ABAP/Fiori developers. Perform code reviews, manage resource allocation, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Integration Strategy: Oversee the integration of SAP with third-party systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite, APIs, and Middleware (PO/CPI).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between functional consultants, business process owners, and the technical team to translate requirements into robust technical specs.
Governance: Establish and maintain development standards, naming conventions, and documentation requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
SAP Certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP BTP or S/4HANA) are highly preferred.
Experience leading at least one full-cycle S/4HANA conversion or implementation project.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Ability to participate in virtual meetings across multiple time zones.
