Position Overview
We are looking for an SAP HANA Developer to join our engineering team in an Agile environment. This role is essential for delivering high-quality solutions through comprehensive analysis, coding, and testing. You will work closely with architects to establish clear requirements and drive effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and evaluate business requirements, translating them into functional and non-functional specifications.

Program Development: Analyze existing programs or devise logic for new systems, prepare flowcharts, configure systems, and conduct tests and rollouts to users.

Testing Solutions: Ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and are fit for purpose by creating and executing detailed test plans.

Documentation: Create end-to-end process flow documentation and technical specifications for all developments.

Development Tasks: Design, build, and test SAP ERP application extensions using ABAP reports, function modules, classes, methods, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements, ALE/IDOCs, and forms development (SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms).

Collaboration: Utilize your analytical and technical skills to translate business needs into cohesive technical specifications while collaborating with developers and analysts across remote locations.

Performance Monitoring: Work closely with the Basis team to monitor application components for optimized performance.

Agile Participation: Actively engage in Agile activities such as daily standups and planning sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field is typically required.

Experience: Over 5 years of SAP ABAP experience in ECC & S/4 HANA (minimum 4 years specifically in HANA).

Project Lifecycle: At least 2-3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA project lifecycle experiences covering design, development, testing, data conversion, deployment, and production support.

Technical Skills:

Strong ABAP for HANA development skills including CDS Views and AMDPs.

Proficiency in interface development using BADIs, BAPIs, RFC calls, enhancements, function modules.

Familiarity with SAP FI/FICA and SD/CI business processes.

Experience in OO ABAP and BOPF implementations.

Knowledge of OData provisioning and Fiori design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with SAP Web IDE or Eclipse IDE.

Familiarity with Fiori Launchpad configuration and standard Fiori 2.0 extensions.

Knowledge of ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and SQL Performance Tuning Worklist (SWLT).

Background in working with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Siebel, SFDC) is advantageous.

Strong troubleshooting skills along with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
