Lead the
functional design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Global Trade Services
(GTS) capabilities within the JTMS platform. Apply GTS Compliance Management,
Customs Management, and Preference Management to the joint movement of DoD
cargo across air, sea, surface, and intermodal lanes, with particular attention
to OFAC, ITAR, EAR, and DoD-unique trade compliance requirements.
• Lead end-to-end design and configuration of SAP GTS
modules: Compliance Management (sanctioned party list screening, embargo, legal
control, license determination), Customs Management (declaration management,
customs procedures, electronic filing), and Preference Management.
• Partner with USTRANSCOM trade compliance, security, and
operations stakeholders to translate international movement and export-control
requirements into GTS configuration and master data design.
• Coordinate with the SAP MM, SD, and Transportation
Management functional teams to design integration points between GTS and the
broader S/4HANA landscape.
• Configure SAP RBAC and ABAC controls so that
export-controlled data (ITAR, EAR, UK MOD) is handled per program access
restrictions.
• Lead functional testing for new GTS solutions,
enhancements, and integrations; support cutover, deployment, and hyper-care
during go-live.
• Mentor junior functional analysts and serve as the
program’s subject-matter authority on GTS across stakeholder, technical, and
integration discussions.
• Produce design documentation, configuration artifacts,
training materials, and the GTS-specific RMF/accreditation evidence the program
requires.
• 8+ years of SAP functional experience with at least 4+
years leading SAP GTS work, including hands-on configuration of all three GTS
pillars.
• Demonstrated experience with at least one full GTS
implementation cycle (design through hyper-care) on S/4HANA or ECC.
• Working knowledge of OFAC SDN, BIS Entity List, ITAR,
EAR, and customs filing standards (US AES, EU ICS, equivalent).
• Experience designing RBAC/ABAC controls for
export-controlled data in SAP environments.
• Active DoD clearance at the level required by the JTMS
program, T3 investigation and/or active secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain,
International Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
Preferred
• SAP GTS certification.
• Familiarity with USTRANSCOM, USEUCOM, USINDOPACOM, or
USAFRICOM trade compliance contexts.
