We are looking for a results-oriented SAP Functional Manager with 8+ years of experience to design, implement, and optimize our SAP finance systems. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to drive value and ensure system compliance.
What You’ll Do:
- Tech and Process Advisor: Partner with business teams to provide expert finance system insights, ensuring technology and processes align with user needs.
- Solution Implementer: Develop, configure, and implement S/4HANA Material Management (Procurement, Inventory) and ARIBA modules, maintaining strong controls around access and security.
- Testing & Issue Resolution: Lead testing phases to ensure system efficiency and act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams to resolve software/technical issues.
- Compliance & Evaluation: Assess and optimize SAP finance systems to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards like JSOX.
- Change Coordination: Evaluate the impact of upstream changes on finance systems and data, coordinating with SAP teams for seamless implementation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on supply chain developments, specifically within the tech/e-commerce industry, to keep systems compliant and future-ready.
What You’ll Need:
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 8 years of experience managing SAP projects/operations (ERP) in tech or e-commerce, with a strong focus on S/4HANA (Material Management, Inventory) and ARIBA configuration.
- Compliance: Extensive experience ensuring systems integrate seamlessly with financial processes while strictly adhering to regulatory standards like JSOX.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across finance, IT, and business teams.
- Project Leadership: Strong project management capabilities, leading cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Tech, and Business teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset to identify practical, detail-oriented solutions for S/4HANA and ARIBA modules.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with a high degree of urgency, results-orientation, and organizational planning.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills Required
- Minimum 8 years in SAP project management and ERP systems
- Background in Tech/E-commerce
- Deep expertise configuring S/4HANA Material Management (Procurement, Inventory)
- Deep expertise configuring SAP Ariba modules
- Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment experience in SAP environments
- Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, and adaptability
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
