SAP Functional AA-AM Consultant (Senior)

Genesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking SAP Functional Consultant with a passion for growth and business transformation. The SAP Functional Consultant will work with clients to understand their business requirements, and help design a solution, using their business process knowledge. They will assist clients in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Functionality. The goal is to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client’s business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.  This position is expected to provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design. This position requires strong organization and communication skills and knowledge of SAP financial functional areas especially AM or RE-FX modules.

The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP modules to enhance the clients' business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

• Manage day-to-day accounting of property items throughout their lifecycle including acquisition transfers and retirement;
  
• Maintain and manage fixed asset expenditures against funding authorizations including the management and reporting of CPP authorizations/authority;
  
• Execute periodic processing activities for monthly depreciation and mass changes to asset master records;
  
• Perform year end closing of asset accounting;
  
• Transfer of assets within / between cost centers; and perform and record the results of the physical inventory of fixed asset property items
  

Required experience in SAP RE-FX for financial reporting of Real Property Inventory to the DoD Installation and Environment domain and requires tracking of all real property including purchase, construction, restoration, modernization, lease/in-grants, out-grants, physical inventory, property disposal, and creating, updating, and archiving asset records. Candidate must have expertise with MM, SD, and FI to integrate functionality.

• Minimum 3-5 years of full lifecycle, Systems Integration, SAP implementation experience
  
• 3-7 years relevant experience working with AA.AM, INV or RE-Fx functional area
  
• Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
  
• Must have working knowledge of the MS office suite
  
• Federal Experience preferred
  

• High School Diploma/GED – Required
  
• Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
  

• No required certifications.
  
• SAP, SAFe, CSM certifications desired.
  

• Must be US Citizen
  
• Must have Active DoD Secret clearance or Ability to Obtain it
  
• Willingness to be on-site daily
