We are currently searching for a SAP FICO Consultant:

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Lead requirement workshops with finance, controlling, and tax stakeholders to define solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Configuration & Design: Design and configure complex FI and CO processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Systems Integration: Architect and validate end-to-end integration scenarios between FI/CO and MM, SD, PP, and other modules or third-party systems.
• Technical Coordination: Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and reports; coordinate tightly with ABAP and technical teams during build and transport cycles.
• Data Migration: Lead data migration strategy and execution for master and transactional data (mapping, cleansing, LSMW/BDC/DTM/IDoc, or modern ETL approaches).
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Drive testing activities including unit, integration, regression, and UAT; prepare test plans and ensure the absolute quality of deliverables.
• Production & Hypercare: Oversee go‑live planning and hypercare support; resolve complex production incidents and perform rigorous root cause analysis.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure finance process design explicitly meets Colombian statutory, tax, and reporting requirements including VAT, withholding tax, e‑invoicing considerations, and DIAN compliance.
• Mentorship & Governance: Provide governance for change control, release management, and documentation. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level FICO consultants.

Requirements

• Minimum of nine (9) years of hands-on, proven SAP FICO experience in implementations, rollouts, or large-scale support engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banks) and CO modules (CCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA).
• Experience with data migration, integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, APIs), and reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of business finance processes, month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Availability for periodic after-hours work during month-end closings, go-lives, and critical support windows.
• Ensure finance process design explicitly meets Colombian statutory, tax, and reporting requirements including VAT, withholding tax, e‑invoicing considerations, and DIAN compliance.
• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Desired 

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations is highly preferred (strong ECC experience is acceptable).
• SAP certifications in FI, CO, or S/4HANA Finance. Knowledge of tax and electronic invoicing regulations in Colombia and Latin America.
• Experience with Central Finance, Financial Closing Cockpit, or SAP Fiori finance apps.
• Familiarity with reporting/analytics tools (SAP BW, SAC, S/4HANA embedded analytics) and basic SQL.
• Experience with Agile/SAP Activate methodology and DevOps practices.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Advanced Spanish.
