Looking for a SAP FICO Architect for a 6-month contract-to-hire role in Alpharetta, GA (Preferred) | Optional: Berkeley Heights, NJ or Omaha, NE.
An experienced SAP FICO Architect with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance is needed to lead end-to-end design and implementation of financial systems within a dynamic finance industry environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader capable of aligning SAP’s advanced financial capabilities with complex operational, regulatory, and digital transformation objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 12+ years of SAP FICO experience, including 3+ full lifecycle S/4HANA Finance implementations (hands-on).
- Strong understanding of financial services processes, including regulatory reporting, consolidation, and intercompany transactions.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- SAP Certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, and Treasury & Risk Management (TRM).
- Working knowledge of SAP BTP, Fiori UX, and cloud-based finance integrations.
- Exposure to global financial operations, multi-entity environments, and shared service center models.
- Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and financial analytics.
