SAP FICO Consultant (K4)

Overview:

Westrocon is looking for an experienced, dynamic and professional SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant who will play a pivotal role in the implementation and support of projects.

The SAP S/4HANA FI expert will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to resolve issues, provide expert guidance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our SAP Support environment.

Must have a valid South African Passport.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP S/4HANA FI Consultant – Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FI module-related requests and incidents.
• Configuration and Customisation – Analyse and resolve SAP S/4HANA FI incidents reported by end-users, ensuring timely and effective solutions to minimise business disruptions.
• Enhancements – Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for system enhancements and participate in the design, testing and deployment of these enhancements.
• Integration – Work on SAP S/4HANA FI integration with other SAP Modules.
• User Training – Develop and deliver SAP S/4HANA FI training materials for end users and assist in user training sessions.
• Documentation – Maintain accurate documentation of SAP S/4HANA FI configurations, processes, and issues resolutions for future reference.
• Compliance - Ensure that SAP FI processes and configurations comply with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities for process optimisations, automation, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaboration – Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants in other modules to resolve complex system issues and ensure overall system performance.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organisation and adhere to all organisational standards.

Requirements:

• BCom/BCompt, Information Technology Graduate (or related field) with a major in accounting.
• SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud - Finance.
• 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP S/4HANA or ECC FI/CO Consultant in Projects and Support.
• Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules.
• SAP S/4HANA and Fiori experience/understanding is advantageous.
• A valid South African passport.
• In-depth understanding of SAP Best Practices.
• Ability to be a trusted advisor to customers.
