IntroductionWe are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Techno-Functional Architect to lead end-to-end warehouse management solution design and delivery as part of strategic digital transformation initiatives such as Program Phoenix. This role is critical in aligning warehouse execution capabilities with S/4HANA transformation objectives while ensuring seamless integration across supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, driving innovation, efficiency, and scalable warehouse solutions within GlobalFoundries’ manufacturing ecosystem.
Your Job- Lead end-to-end SAP EWM solution design and delivery aligned with S/4HANA transformation goals.
- Conduct business process workshops and translate requirements into current-to-future state warehouse designs (inbound, outbound, internal logistics, inventory management).
- Configure and own SAP EWM functional components including warehouse structure, inbound/outbound processes, replenishment, physical inventory, RF framework, and handling unit management.
- Act as the techno-functional bridge between business and IT, collaborating with architects and developers on integrations and enhancements.
- Design and govern integrations between SAP EWM and modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and external systems (automation, labeling, MES, peripherals).
- Define and lead EWM testing strategy, including SIT, UAT, defect triage, and end-to-end validation across supply chain processes.
- Drive data readiness and migration activities, ensuring accurate setup of warehouse master data including products, bins, handling units, and packaging specifications.
- Plan and execute cutover and go-live activities, including mock cutovers, reconciliation, and business continuity planning.
- Support post-go-live stabilization and hypercare, resolving production issues and driving adoption.
- Ensure solution quality, governance, compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on SAP experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and Logistics.
- Strong expertise in SAP EWM and SAP MM modules.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, end-to-end SAP transformation programs.
- Deep understanding of warehouse operations including inbound logistics, receiving, outbound shipping, and logistics execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
- Experience with S/4HANA embedded or decentralized EWM implementations.
- Knowledge of warehouse automation technologies and integration frameworks.
- Experience working in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with SAP integration technologies (IDocs, APIs, middleware platforms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
