SAP ERP Project Manager

Overview:

Westrocon is seeking a skilled Project Manager with a proven track record in successfully managing SAP ERP Projects. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies, along with strong leadership abilities to oversee project planning, execution, and delivery.

This role requires effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring project milestones are achieved within scope, timeline, and budget. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of SAP solutions, optimising business processes, and ensuring seamless integration of SAP modules across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the Project life cycle to facilitate the successful delivery of our SAP ERP projects.
• Oversee SAP project to provide metrics for reporting to the executive team on implementation methodology, project progress and business case ROI’s.
• Provide Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) on selected business processes to assemble input into business cases.
• Develop and oversee detailed project plans.
• Identify, analyse and recommend business systems solutions to management having a broad business impact.
• Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.
• Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Provide project leadership, work direction and feedback.
• Motivate the work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
• Convey and report status to executives, global business partners and all other key stakeholders.
• Present formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce or related fields will be advantageous.
• Project Management Qualification (Registered with the Project Management body will be advantageous)
• 4+ years' proven experience as a Project Manager for SAP ERP Projects. Experience in Cloud implementations will be advantageous.
• Experience and knowledge of SAP ERP Products will be a strong recommendation.
• Understand the use of SAP project methodologies and tools, such as SAP Activate - Agile Project Delivery, SAP Best Practices, etc.
• Experience in creating documentation and support materials.
• Willing to travel within South Africa, Africa and globally if required.
• Working knowledge of a Project and Task Management software solution like JIRA, MS Project, Trello or equivalent.
• Able to run Agile Epics, Sprints and facilitate Scrum teams.
