SAP Development Lead Consultant

Syskoplan is seeking an SAP Development Lead Consultant to perform programming, design, and testing in varying environments including process enhancements, support, and rollouts. You will be comfortable in the classic ABAP environment and in BTP as well. You will be an individual contributor and lead a small team of developers. 

Responsibilities

• Lead small delivery teams, both onsite and remote in the development area
• Hands-on contribution as part of the team providing development contributions and leadership
• Provide guidance to the project and business teams, while ensuring delivery of the development needs of projects, on time
• Construct technical solutions for the client needs using SAP ABAP and SAP BTP Tools and Services, in conjunction with functional team members
• Understand and/or quickly learn business challenges presented and translate them into requirements/solutions
• Collaborate closely with members of internal and client teams and have the ability to work independently

Minimum Requirements

• 8 years experience as an ABAP Developer including other module experience with working knowledge of ABAP programs
• Up to 25% travel
• Knowledge of ERP modules in the programming context as well as general business processes
• Classic ABAP technologies are assumed including Modern Object-Oriented ABAP (classes, methods), Forms (SAPScript, Smartform, Adobe), and Enhancements (User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Spots)
• Knowledge of modern technologies found in the BTP space/SAP Build
• Interfaces including RFC, BAPI, JSON, OData
• SAP Data Migration including BDC, LSMW, ALE, IDOC, EDI Integration

• Knowledge of PI/PO or CPI concepts and tools

• Eclipse Development tools
• Fiori development
• RF and mobile device integration
• CDS views

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $130,000 – $160,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and as applicable, other required qualifications.
