Job Summary:
Strong Technical Consulting with 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP or S/4 HANA coding & advanced technologies. You are expected to design, code, and solve for various industries using the S/4 HANA latest coding techniques (CDS, RAP, ODATA, AMDP, Clean Core) and integrate with multiple systems (FIORI, Middlewares, 3rd Party Systems, BTP). In this role, you will work closely with PM, Engineering, Consulting, and other Stakeholders across departments.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and support application solutions
• Perform initial object review and discuss open issues with functional consultants / client. Come up with estimates.
• Write technical specifications, code, perform technical unit testing (TUT) and prepare TUT
• Should own the assigned tasks completely and deliver independently with good quality and within timelines
• Participate in technical discussions with clients and functional consultants
• Strong peer review skills (code, technical specification, and TUT)
• Guide & groom junior resources and be a go to person for any technical support
• Should be able to handle small sized teams if required
• Participate in requirement discussions with functional, technical and Non-SAP teams. Coordinate with all the stakeholders to fulfil the requirement
• Report the status of the assigned work on a regular basis to leads and management/Other stakeholders involved
Requirements:
• 4 to 6 years of experience in ABAP
• Excellent Knowledge of BTP along with some experience in CAPM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of DDIC, interfaces, enhancements, and reports
• Good understanding of integration between multiple systems (SAP, Middleware, and Non-SAP)
• Good understanding of functional flow (FI and OTC). Knowledge of FSCM is an added advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good documentation skills
• Quick learner and adapt to the project processes & team dynamics
• Ability to mentor junior resources
• Should be familiar with MS tools (Word document, excel) / Google (Sheets, Docs)
