About this role:

Our DXC Application services team works with our customers as a trusted partner to help simplify, modernize, and accelerate mission-critical applications that support business agility and growth. Customers work with us to take advantage of the latest digital platforms with both custom and packaged applications, ensure resiliency, launch new products, and enter new markets with minimal disruption.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Understanding business data needs, identifying source data, and analyzing data quality to define migration requirements.
• Mapping source system data fields to corresponding SAP fields, performing data cleansing, and developing transformation logic to ensure data integrity.
• Creating and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using SAP tools like LSMW, LTMC, Migration Cockpit, or third-party ETL tools.
• Performing comprehensive data validation checks to identify and resolve data quality issues before loading data into SAP.
• Coordinating the data migration activities with other project teams to ensure a smooth cutover process.
• Documenting data migration processes, including data mapping rules, validation criteria, and migration procedures.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience working as Data Migration Consultant
• Thorough knowledge of relevant SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Sales, Logistics) and their corresponding data tables.
• Expertise in using SAP data migration tools like LSMW, LTMC, Migration Cockpit, and potentially third-party ETL tools.
• Ability to analyze large datasets, identify data quality issues, and perform data profiling.
• Proficiency in SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
• Ability to manage data migration projects, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

• SAP Certified
