Job Description

CSCI Consulting is looking for a SAP Data Migration Architect to support our Federal client. In this role, the consultant will lead the consolidation of four SAP ECC systems into a single composable ERP platform and migrate legacy capabilities into a new SAP S/4HANA transactional core using industry-standard migration tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and execution of data migration activities from four SAP ECC environments into SAP S/4HANA
  • Utilize tools such as SNP CrystalBridge (or similar) to perform data extraction, transformation, loading, and reconciliation
  • Define and implement required data transformation rules to ensure data integrity and alignment with the new ERP design
  • Collaborate with Functional Process Teams to support readiness activities, validate business requirements, and ensure successful migration outcomes
  • Participate in multiple integrated test cycles, including mock conversions and validation testing, to confirm migration accuracy
  • Identify defects, gaps, and inconsistencies between SAP and legacy systems; coordinate resolution with project teams
  • Support functional data design discussions and technical load processes as required
  • Provide expert guidance on migration strategy, tools, and best practices
  • Escalate risks, issues, and decision points to leadership in a timely manner
  • Provide deployment and post-go-live support to ensure a stable transition to S/4HANA
Minimum Requirements
  • 7+ years of SAP Data Migration experience
  • Proven experience supporting ECC-to-S/4HANA migration projects using tools such as SNP CrystalBridge, SAP DMLT, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of SAP data structures, ETL processes, and validation methodologies
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with SAP Public Sector Finance / Funds Management, Defense & Security, and Logistics data domains
  • SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
  • Team lead or technical leadership experience on large-scale ERP migrations
  • Relevant SAP certifications
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
  • Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
  • Past experience working with a Federal agency
  • Department of War, etc. experience is a plus!
