Position Summary:
CG Infinity is seeking an experienced SAP Data Engineer with a strong background in data migration to join our IT consulting team. This role involves working on diverse projects across multiple industries, supporting clients in implementing, optimizing, and migrating data within SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP data tools, ETL processes, and a deep understanding of data governance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data migration strategies for SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, etc.).
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SAP tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS), LTMC, and LSMW.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely migration of master and transactional data.
- Conduct data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to maintain data integrity during migration.
- Develop and maintain data models, mapping documents, and migration templates.
- Support clients in data governance, quality assurance, and compliance throughout the migration process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and best practices for SAP data management and migration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP data engineering and migration projects.
- Proficiency in SAP Data Services (BODS), LTMC, LSMW, and related SAP data tools.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.) and their data structures.
- Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic, client-facing environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with S/4HANA migration projects.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data integration tools.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and GDPR compliance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
