Controlling Module SME with a passion for growth and business transformation
for a public sector client in the Metro Washington, DC area. Join our team and work on

The SAP Controlling Module SME will facilitate
the implementation and support of SAP modules to enhance the clients' business
functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer
satisfaction. Specific responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Develop
and review functional designs,
- Develop,
review and execute test plans
- Configuration
of CO module to include Project Systems
- Operational
Finance, Materials Finance, Materials Costing, Manufacturing Costing, Profitability
Analysis
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in
a business-related field required
- 10+ years’ experience as a Senior SAP Consultant/Analyst or equivalent
supporting SAP CO / PS module
- 5+ years’ experience with Federal and/or DoD FM policies and procedures
- 4+ years’ experience in accounting
- Federal ERP Experience, Navy preferred
- SAP Modules Development
- Accounting Knowledge
- Strong knowledge in controlling processes-Product costing , cost center
accounting, cost object controlling & Service contract, profitability
analysis business environment
- Must understand the integration points for SAP CO with Material
Management, Production Planning, GL, Revenue Recognition, Results Analysis, and
Settlements for service contract business
- CO rollout and on-going support in the areas of Inventory
Management/Reporting, Material Ledger, SAP S4/HANA, Manufacturing Costing, Profit
Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis
- Bachelor’s Degree in a
business-related field required
- SAP
certifications preferred
- Scrum,
Agile, SAFe certifications desired
- Must be US Citizen
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred,
or ability to obtain it
- Willingness to be on-site 3+ days each week
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
- 10+ years experience as a Senior SAP Consultant/Analyst supporting SAP CO and PS modules
- 5+ years experience with Federal and/or DoD financial management policies and procedures
- 4+ years experience in accounting
- Federal ERP experience
- Navy experience
- SAP modules development experience (CO/PS and related integrations)
- Strong knowledge of controlling processes: product costing, cost center accounting, cost object controlling, service contract processes, profitability analysis
- Understanding of integration points between SAP CO and MM, PP, GL, revenue recognition, results analysis, and settlements
- Experience with CO rollout and support: Inventory Management/Reporting, Material Ledger, SAP S/4HANA, Manufacturing Costing, Profit Center Accounting
- SAP certifications
- Scrum, Agile, SAFe certifications
- Must be US Citizen
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Willingness to be on-site 3+ days each week
