Job Description:
- Act as the subject matter expert in SAP Controlling and Product Costing:
- Product costing (standard costing, cost roll-ups, variance analysis)
- Cost center and profit center accounting
- Internal orders and profitability analysis (COPA)
- Translates business requirements into SAP solutions aligned with the global template
- Challenge requirements to ensure simplicity, scalability, and standardization
- Drive improvement initiatives based on business feedback and KPI insights
- Manage demand, change requests, and enhancements within the Controlling domain
- Prioritize initiatives based on business value and alignment with global standards
- Identify inefficiencies and inconsistencies across regions
- Ensure strict adherence to the global SAP template and fit-to-standard principles
- Assess and challenge localization requests
- Promote consistent processes and ways of working across regions
- Support and guide Key Users with functional expertise and training input
- Strengthen the Key User community and promote knowledge sharing
- Drive consistent system adoption across regions
- Support analysis and resolution of complex incidents and recurring issues
- Coordinate and support business testing for system changes and releases
- Ensure correct use of controlling structures and data impacting costing and reporting
- Identify opportunities for automation and system improvements
- Minimum 5 years of SAP Controlling experience with strong Product Costing focus
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and global template environments
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and profitability analysis
- Experience working with Key User or super user communities
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and influence
- Fluent in English
- Assess financial impact of improvements
- Support cost-benefit analysis and budgeting related to financial systems
- Coach and mentor Key Users
- Enable adoption of SAP solutions across finance communities
- Act as a bridge between business and IT
- Strong understanding of financial processes, Record-to-Report and cost management
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI-CO, with a strong focus on CO, esp. Product Costing
- Solid understanding of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
- Experience in financial transformation initiatives, process design, requirements management
- Ability to develop and support Key User communities and drive capability building
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to translate business needs into system solutions
- Experience working in multi-country environments with different regulatory requirements
- SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO)
- Controlling (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, COPA)
- Group Reporting and consolidation
- Treasury and Cash Management
- Integration with adjacent finance and reporting solutions
- Data analysis, process modeling, and requirements management
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with BI and reporting tools
- Understanding of system integration and data migration concepts
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or IT
- Proven track record in SAP FICO implementations and support
- Experience across full project lifecycles
- Strong exposure to financial closing, cost management, and reporting processes
- Experience in complex stakeholder environments and transformation programs
- Additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Dutch are an advantage
