The Position

SAP Cloud Integration Architect

Role: 

SAP Cloud Integration Architect should be able to define and be responsible for an organization’s Platform Architecture, Platform Innovation and Guardrails & Best Practices.

SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) is a cloud-based integration capability based on the SAP Integration Suite Platform for integrating cloud applications with other cloud and on-premise solutions. The solution supports both process and data integration needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Defining and being responsible for the architecture of SAP Integration Suite Platform in Roche, Platform Guardrails, Innovation and Best Practices

  • Defining and delivering the Integration Technology aspects of the products, including timely production of architectural designs and documentation

  • Being a key contributor and advocate of SAP Integration Suite capabilities such as API Management, Open Connectors and Trading Partner Management

  • Communicating the implementation approach and design methodology to the federated DevOps teams, stakeholders and other products

  • Collaborate with SAP, track and define platform roadmap, lead community sessions and advocate new features adoption.

  • Leading a team to create innovative solutions to boost the developer's productivity.

Skill set:

  • At least Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with over 7 years of application and data integration experience

  • Hands-on expertise and worked as an Integration Technology Architect on the adoption of Hybrid Integration or iPaaS solutions with a particular focus on the SAP Integration Suite

  • Experience in SAP interface technologies (SAP Gateway, RFC / BAPI, IDoc) and in working with the most common Adapters (AS2, File, sFTP, Mail, REST, SOAP, HTTPs, ODATA, JDBC, XI, MDM, JMS)

  • Experience in setting up Key store and certificate management

  • Solid understanding of the integration assets life cycle, solution architecture, and technical documentation, including logical and physical architecture, and systems design artifacts

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of integration architecture concepts and patterns, including Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration,Sync/Async,  Event Driven Architecture etc.

  • Scripting Languages such as JavaScript, XSLT and Groovy

  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Added Advantage: 

  • Certifications such as: SAP Cert. Associate - Integration Developer, SAP Cert. Development Associate - SAP Integration Suite.

  • Experience with SAP Business Technologies Platform (BTP)

  • Experience in Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) specializing in middleware, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability through effective monitoring, automation, and incident response.

  • Knowledge of Event Broker solutions (e.g. EventMesh, Solace) and API Management (e.g. MuleSoft)

  • Experience in working and delivering in the scrum / agile methodologies.
