We are seeking a Senior SAP Business One (B1) Lead to serve as the end-to-end owner of our global SAP B1 landscape. In this fully remote role (U.S.-based), you will provide strategic and operational leadership for SAP B1, ensuring system stability, global consistency, regulatory and SOX/ITGC compliance, and the successful delivery of enhancements and new implementations. This position is ideal for a senior SAP B1 professional who is ready to take full ownership of a critical enterprise platform and serve as a trusted technology partner to business stakeholders worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own global SAP Business One operations by overseeing the health, stability, and performance of all SAP B1 instances, acting as the primary escalation point for complex issues, and coordinating resolution across internal teams and external partners.

  • Lead SAP B1 support and governance, including managing AMS and internal support resources, driving timely ticket resolution, root-cause analysis, documentation, standards, and knowledge base development to ensure global consistency.

  • Serve as IT Control Owner for SAP B1, maintaining SOX-compliant IT General Controls (ITGCs) for access management, change management, and operational controls, and partnering closely with Internal Audit and external auditors on walkthroughs, testing, and remediation.

  • Drive implementations and global rollouts by leading new SAP B1 implementations and major enhancements from planning through post-go-live stabilization, managing third-party implementation partners, and ensuring alignment with business, compliance, and regional requirements.

  • Provide strategic leadership and business partnership, developing and enforcing global SAP B1 standards and governance, shaping the SAP B1 roadmap, identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation, and aligning the platform with long-term business objectives.

  • Build and lead the SAP B1 team, mentoring team members, defining roles and operating rhythms, and developing capabilities across SAP B1 functional expertise, SOX/ITGC execution, and implementation support, supported by metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements
  • Proven senior-level experience owning and managing SAP Business One in a global, multi-instance environment, including hands-on expertise with key SAP B1 modules, configurations, integrations, and operational support.

  • Demonstrated background leading or overseeing ERP implementations and working effectively with third-party implementation and AMS partners to deliver on scope, timelines, and quality.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing complex functional and technical issues and driving sustainable, metrics-driven improvements.

  • Experience with SOX compliance, IT General Controls (ITGCs), and audit support (e.g., walkthroughs, evidence collection, remediation) is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across IT, Finance, Audit, and diverse business teams, and to translate business needs into system solutions.

  • Experience leading or mentoring functional or technical team members in an ERP or financial systems environment, with the ability to set priorities, assign ownership, and ensure consistent execution in a fast-paced, evolving setting.

  • Ability to work remotely within the United States and travel periodically for key project milestones and in-person team collaboration.

What We Offer
  • A fully remote position within the United States, with periodic travel for strategic initiatives and team collaboration.

  • The opportunity to own and shape a mission-critical global SAP B1 platform, influencing strategy, standards, and future roadmap.

  • A collaborative, cross-functional environment that values strong partnerships between IT, Finance, Audit, and business stakeholders.

  • A standard benefits package designed to support your well-being and work-life balance.
