As a SAP BI Consultant, you will take charge of designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive SAP Business Intelligence solutions tailored to the needs of Zalando’s finance department. Leveraging your expertise in SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP SLT, SAP HANA Native, Databricks, SAP Analytics Cloud & Analysis for Office, you will implement BI applications that enable data-driven decision-making and strategic insights.
In this role, you will partner closely with finance teams to gather requirements, develop customized reporting and analytics solutions, and ensure seamless system integration. Your mission will focus on delivering high-performing, scalable, and user-friendly BI tools that empower critical financial processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Support the technical design and implementation of financial reporting and analytics solutions using SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP SLT, SAP HANA Native, Databricks, SAP Analytics Cloud & Analysis for Office.

Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements, align solutions with business needs, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.

Optimize data models, ETL processes, and system performance to ensure seamless integration and efficient data flow.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying system gaps and enhancing existing BI applications.

You have extensive SAP Analytics Expertise: Proven experience with SAP BW, including developing and optimizing data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks. Experience with SAP Datasphere is a plus.

Advanced Analytical Skills: Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Analysis for Office, with a strong ability to create tailored dashboards, visualizations, and financial reports.

Databricks Proficiency: Experience designing and managing robust data pipelines within Databricks environments, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.

SAP Data Integration Excellence: Demonstrated ability to integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality for analytics and reporting.

Collaborative Communicator: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to gather requirements, present solutions, and foster alignment across teams.

S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics: Knowledge of implementing and maintaining operational reporting within S/4 HANA environments. S/4 HANA functional FI-GL, FI-CO, FI-CA or MM knowledge is a plus.

Financial Process Knowledge: Understanding of financial processes, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
