SAP INHOUSE CONSULTANT FI/CO
SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Within our international SAP team, you coordinate the further development of our finance and controlling processes in the SAP environment.
You act as a central interface between business departments, external partners, and IT teams – from requirements gathering to rollout – ensuring structured and timely implementation.
YOUR TASKS
Coordinate SAP FI/CO projects, enhancements and international rollout activities
Support project planning, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery
Gather, document, and analyze requirements together with Finance and Controlling stakeholders
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and coordinate implementation with internal and external SAP experts
Coordinate and support testing activities (including UAT) and go-live preparation
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively initiate countermeasures
Manage external service providers and implementation partners
Continuously optimize SAP finance processes and applications
Maintain project and process documentation and create/enhance training materials
Act as the central point of contact for business users, SAP consultants, and technical teams; support key users with incidents and change requests
YOUR PROFILE
Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
Initial professional experience in SAP projects, PMO, business analysis, or SAP application support
Solid understanding of finance and controlling processes and their mapping in SAP
Experience with SAP FI and/or CO is an advantage
Structured, organized working style with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Experience in requirements management, documentation, and communication with business units
Basic understanding of SAP development, interfaces, and technical concepts
Knowledge of project management methods and tools is a plus
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in international teams
Fluent German and good English skills

Skills Required
- Degree in economics, business informatics, business administration or comparable degree
- 3-5 years of professional experience in consulting or in-house position
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA, PCA, Production Controlling
- Excellent knowledge of interfaces to SAP modules SD, MM, PS, PM, PP
- Knowledge of ABAP programming language
- Experience with SAP S4HANA or SAP BW
- Very good knowledge of German and English
