Role Requirement: SAP BTP Developer
Location: The work is primarily remote, with occasional co-location at Deloitte’s Nashville office.
Project – Deloitte Performance Management Transformation
Systems Involved – SAP SF EC, SF PMGM, SAP BTP (CAPM, CI, Hana Cloud, Work Zone, UX, Security)
We are seeking a skilled SAP professional with hands-on experience and deep understanding of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), spanning the following key areas:
SAP BTP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Proficient in developing scalable and maintainable business applications using SAP CAPM.
- Demonstrates expertise in applying SAP’s best practices for cloud-native application development.
- Advanced CAPM Development: Architecting complex enterprise-grade services using SAP CAPM (Node.js/JavaScript) and Core Data Services (CDS)
- Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for BTP deployments.
- Translating complex global HR business requirements into concrete cloud technical specifications.
- Conducting code reviews ensuring robust testing.
SAP HANA Cloud
- Skilled in designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud-based data platforms on SAP HANA Cloud.
- Extensive experience in platform performance optimization and data security management.
- Data Modeling: data modeling in SAP HANA Cloud, managing complex HDI containers, optimizing database performance and experience leveraging SAP HANA calculation views to compute business metrics/aggregations.
SAP Work Zone
- Experienced in deploying SAP Work Zone as a digital workplace solution.
- Experience to integrate business applications, workflows, and collaboration tools to enable seamless digital experiences.
SuccessFactors Integration & API
- Extensibility Patterns: familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors extension points, custom fields, MDF objects and OData API.
- Advanced handling of SuccessFactors OData v2/v4 APIs for when SF live calls from the application are required.
- Familiarity with RBP, CIS, IAS, IPS and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) concepts.
SAP Fiori/UI5 UX
- Strong background in designing and deploying SAP Fiori/UI5 user experiences.
- Familiarity with UX strategy using SAP Fiori Elements and custom SAPUI5 applications developed within SAP BAS and SF WZ theming.
- Ensures all solutions are aligned with SAP’s UX guidelines.
SAP BTP Security
- Demonstrates solid understanding of SAP BTP security concepts, including identity and access management, authentication, authorization, and compliance.
Skills Required
- Hands-on experience and deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform
- Proficiency developing scalable, maintainable applications using SAP CAPM
- Advanced SAP CAPM development using Node.js, JavaScript, and Core Data Services
- Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP deployments

- Experience designing, implementing, and managing SAP HANA Cloud platforms
- Experience with SAP HANA Cloud data modeling, HDI containers, performance optimization, and calculation views
- Experience deploying and integrating SAP Work Zone
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors extension points, custom fields, MDF objects, and OData APIs
- Advanced experience with SuccessFactors OData v2 and v4 APIs
