Looking for a motivated SAP BODS Developer to join our data integration team. The candidate will assist in developing, testing, and supporting ETL processes using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. This role involves working with SAP and non-SAP systems to support data migration, data warehousing, and reporting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL jobs using SAP BODS.
- Create data flows, workflows, and transformations based on business requirements.
- Extract data from SAP systems, Databases, Flat files and External systems
- Perform Data cleansing, Data validation, Data transformation and Data loading
- Support data migration and integration activities
- Debug and troubleshoot ETL job failures
- Monitor scheduled jobs and batch executions
- Assist in performance optimization of ETL jobs
- Work closely with senior developers, functional consultants, and business users
- Follow coding standards and development best practices
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services
- Understanding of ETL concepts
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server and SAP HANA
- Basic understanding of Data warehousing, Data migration concepts and SAP systems like SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA
- Understanding of data quality concepts
- Basic scripting knowledge is an advantage
