SAP Basis Consultant (PR Remote)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.

• Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain compliance and performance.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, utilizing SAP tools and methodologies.

• Contribute to the management of user authorizations and roles within the SAP environment.

• Document processes and procedures to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and enhance system functionality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Basic understanding of SAP Basis administration and architecture

• Familiarity with Operating Systems (Linux, Windows) and Database Management Systems (Oracle, SQL Server)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Project experience related to SAP systems

• Familiarity with Cloud technologies and SAP HANA

• Experience with basic scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation tasks

Work Environment

• Remote to Puerto Rico only (Resources need to reside in Puerto Rico)

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
