Role Overview
Looking for an SAP Integration professional with strong experience in designing, developing, and managing APIs across SAP and non-SAP systems. The role involves working with REST, OData, SOAP, security standards, and enterprise integration patterns following API-first principles.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain RESTful, OData, SOAP services using SAP technologies (Gateway, SPROXY, SICF).
Implement integrations using OAuth2, JWT, API throttling, rate-limiting, and versioning strategies.
Design APIs following API-first principles and document them using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Work with middleware/tools such as SAP CPI, PI/PO, API Management, Integration Suite.
Required Skills
Strong experience with REST/OData/SOAP, SPROXY, RFCs, IDocs, JSON/XML, and API security.
Familiarity with API Management, rate-limiting, API keys, token flows.
Experience preparing API specs, design documents, interface catalogs.
Understanding of integration patterns, cloud connectors, destinations, and connectivity.
Nice to Have
Experience with BTP Integration Suite, event-driven architecture, queues, and webhooks.
Knowledge of CI/CD for integration artifacts, Git, and DevOps processes.
Skills Required
