Job Description
As MiTek transitions from SAP go-live and hypercare into steady-state operations, this internship offers hands-on experience in supporting the launch and stabilization of our SAP Application Management Services (AMS) model. The SAP AMS Intern will work closely with the ERP Service Delivery Manager and AMS partner to ensure smooth post-go-live operations, effective process documentation, and data-driven performance monitoring.This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world exposure to IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, SLA governance, and continuous improvement practices within a global enterprise ERP environment.
Our program is a paid, 12-week program that will run from Monday, May 18th through Friday, August 7th. For internships that outside your current geographic location, we offer a $6,000 Intern Stipend to help cover your temporary housing and travel for the duration of the program.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Assist in analyzing and tracking SAP post-go-live issues and trends across functional workstreams; support the AMS team in managing incident resolution and knowledge capture.
Help maintain and enhance SAP AMS operational procedures, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to reflect evolving processes and lessons learned from stabilization.
Partner with the Service Delivery Manager to design and update AMS performance dashboards and reports — tracking SLA metrics, ticket volumes, and root cause analysis.
Support governance meetings between MiTek and the AMS partner by preparing status summaries, risk/issue logs, and performance review materials.
Contribute with improving AMS efficiency through analytics and automation — such as ticket categorization insights, turnaround time optimization, or predictive trend analysis.
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Foundational understanding of SAP ERP (preferably S/4HANA) and its core business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Master Data).
Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and tools such as ServiceNow preferred.
Strong analytical, documentation, and Excel/Power BI (or equivalent) skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
