Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SAP ABAP solutions using modern ABAP 7.4+ coding standards.
- Work extensively on S/4HANA ABAP development and OData services.
- Design, develop, and implement OData services using SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and specifications.
- Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Unit Test documents.
- Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Work on ALV/Classical Reports, BAPI, ALE/IDOC, BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, LSMW/BDC.
- Participate in implementation, integration testing, unit testing, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot incidents and ensure adherence to SLAs and ITIL processes.
- Interact regularly with onsite teams and clients and provide project status updates.
- Review deliverables and ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing and COE activities.
- Identify risks, manage escalations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead technical discussions and work directly with clients when required.
- Minimum 6 years of SAP ABAP experience with multiple implementation/support projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA and OData.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP 7.4+ and Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Good experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData service creation/implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Workflows.
- At least one SAP implementation experience is mandatory.
- Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
- Experience working with onsite/client teams and leading technical workstreams.
Skills Required
- At least 6 years of SAP ABAP experience
- Experience with multiple SAP implementation and support projects
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and OData
- Strong knowledge of ABAP 7.4+
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData service creation and implementation
- Hands-on experience with forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and workflows
- At least one SAP implementation experience
