CSI Aerospace Inc, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company (NYSE: HEI) is seeking a Sander (Assembler). The sander performs tasks and functions related to the production of finished products. 1st Shift Position Available. 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. OT on Fridays as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grind, sand or polish using hand tools or hand-held power tools on metal products.
- Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing assembly environment doing repetitive work preferred
- Must have good dexterity and precision when working on the parts
- Ability to use hand tools and sander
Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:
Language- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Ability to lift up to 20lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
