Job Summary: Responsible for scuff sanding stain or painted products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scuff sanding stain or painted products.
- Quality inspection of all painted and glazed parts.
- All other duties as delegated by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read identification boards.
- Must have the ability to learn wood types, as well as glaze and stain colors.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Stand and walk up to ten hours per day on concrete surfaces.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and transport materials which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below.
- Frequently bend, stoop, reach grasps, twist, push, and pull items which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers by phone or in-person.
- Must be mentally altered and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks.
- Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and environmental fluctuations.
- Must be able to work the required daily and weekly work hours as determined by the schedule.
- Good attendance and punctuality are necessary.
- Must exemplify through appearance and behavior the company’s image of excellence.
- Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures if directed.
