Overview:
Join ISS STOXX ESG’s Global Sanctions Sector as a Research Analyst and be part of our mission to enhance ESG research and investment products. Based in Manila, you will conduct in-depth research on individuals, companies, and corporate activities in the context of national and multilateral sanctions.
Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Research: Conduct thorough desktop research on individuals and companies designated under national and multilateral sanctions. Focus on individual and corporate involvement in activities covered by various sanctions frameworks.

Analytical Reporting: Draft detailed research reports on these individuals and entities' activities, varying in length and depth, both independently and in collaboration with the team.

Product Enhancement: Participate in team processes aimed at strengthening our ESG product offerings.
Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, conflict studies, or a related field.

Relevant Experience: 2-4 years of experience in ESG research, technical writing, and a strong interest in sustainability, ESG, or environmental management.

Research Skills: Solid writing and research skills with the ability to produce basic analyses.

Knowledge Base: Experience or exposure to national or international sanctions, anti-money laundering, due diligence, and investigative report writing is highly desirable.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interest in Business: A broad interest in the business and financial world.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Methodical Approach: A methodical and thorough approach to work.
