Overview:

2020 Companies seeks a remote Field Operations Manager for an immediate full-time position!

Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the Field Operations Manager (FOM) will oversee the Retail Associate team across Samsung Experience Store (SES) locations. This role is essential to program success and focuses on team leadership, client relations, performance management, and operational excellence.

The FOM will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store leadership and the client management team to meet and exceed program goals
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate Retail Associates, providing ongoing performance feedback and development support
  • Deliver program reporting, manage staffing levels, and drive special projects as needed
  • Partner closely with 2020 corporate support teams to ensure alignment and execution
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to SES locations for performance reviews and development planning
  • Represent the program with a high level of professionalism in all client- and management-facing interactions

This position requires regular travel and a proactive leadership style focused on team success and client satisfaction.

Job Description:

  • Successfully develop and build relationships with corporate support and the Client leadership team
  • Effectively provide staffing, performance, and coaching reporting to program & client leadership
  • Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed
  • Travel to retail locations, as needed
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Attend meetings and conference calls as required, as needed
  • Remain proactive in anticipating problems and work to resolve them quickly
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Facilitate the staffing and onboarding process for their assigned region(s)
  • Create a welcoming new hire experience and ensure completion of required training
  • Collaborate with the training team to ensure adherence to the new hire onboarding path
  • Creating & Auditing Team Schedules and Shift Compliance
  • Develop and maintain team schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and alignment with business needs
  • Conduct regular audits of shift compliance to ensure adherence to established schedules and standards
  • Ensure store team compliance with retailer standards and internal performance metrics

Performance Measurements:

  • Staffing Rates & 90-day Turnover
  • External/Internal Compliance
  • Efficient handling of administrative tasks
  • Client satisfaction based on the KPIs and client satisfaction metrics
  • Work with the Program Manager and other key account team partners to determine meaningful business metrics for the program and help build reporting around it to drive the business

Qualifications:

  • College degree required, Business degree preferred
  • 4-7 years retail and operations management experience required
  • Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions, and problem solve
  • Capable of working autonomously with excellent time management skills
  • High-level Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, M365 experience
  • Workday & Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred
  • Must be able to travel to various markets across the US and work flexible hours
