Overview:

2020 Companies seeks a full-time Account Support Specialist to represent our client, Samsung Electronics America.
Location: On-Site in Ridgefield Park, NJ office, Monday – Thursday
The Account Support Specialist will successfully manage day-to-day operations within the Customer Care department for multiple partner locations. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the territory (clients and retailers) to understand and exceed client goals; providing inventory management support; and assisting with upholding repair quality standards and other key performance indicators (KPIs). The Account Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring the customer has a best-in-class service experience, maintains effective business relationships at all levels, and acts according to company values, forging a team-based culture of inclusion.

Job Description:

  • Manages all aspects of parts inventory from weekly parts ordering, physical inventory, spent parts handling, and parts accuracy

  • Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency

  • Proactively monitors KPI and sales data and ensures target objectives are met each day in assigned territory/locations, providing consultation or correction to under-performing markets

  • Identifies and communicates market intelligence on current retail market conditions, competitive environment, and/or opportunities that may affect sales or product category share; analyzes market strengths/weaknesses/opportunities/threats in collaboration with management

  • Exceptional skills in customer service, managing any customer escalations per policy to enable a best-in-class experience

  • Makes decisions within guidelines and policies

  • Ability to multitask and strong organizational skills

  • Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed

  • Manages the Self-Repair Program to ensure all parts are available within the specified time and available to consumers.

  • Manages Independent Service Providers supporting small business, depot, and B2B accounts

  • Collaborates during weekly meetings with the supply chain to gain an understanding of parts demand and expected fulfillment time based on lead time

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred

  • 3-5 years retail or sales management experience required

  • Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions, and problem solve

  • Capable of working autonomously with excellent time management skills

  • Must be able to travel approximately 10-20% of the year to various markets across the US and work flexible hours, as necessary

Performance Measurements:

  • Ensure the team meets established weekly/monthly projects goals

  • Ensure team contributes to the overall goals of achieving monthly targets (KPIs)

  • Customer/client satisfaction based on the territory's rejection percentages and substantiated complaints
